An interesting fact about this project; it is among the range of other developments that are under construction in this region. All these developments are part of the major revitalization project that is on the way so there is a lot on the way according to the plans. These plans include the revitalization of the parks, shopping centers, and other errands.
|Project Name||Oro Condos|

|Address||26 Elm Street, Mississauga|
|Developer||Solmar Development Corp.|
|Units & Storeys||TBA|
According to the discussions that took place between Solmar and the City Council, the design will feature a tower with a podium. The discussions were held between the two parties last year. After that, we haven’t heard much about the project. But recent news has confirmed that the work will start on the projects pretty soon.
Solmar is making sure that all aspects of the building get the approval on the first go. Therefore, the developer is making sure that everything stays on the track and no resubmission of the rendering occurs. The high rising tower will integrate modern looks with a classic touch. Solmar is looking to add a mechanical penthouse right at the top of the building.
As per the reports, the mid-rise structure of the building will feature townhouses. And their balconies will provide the residents with a beautiful view of Elm Drive. There will be a lobby with double height and a landscaped entrance will share it with the anchoring structures.
According to our reports, the project will feature a lot of amenity space for the residents to enjoy. We don’t have an exact number as of now. But space will be there on the ground floor, on top of the podium, on top of the mid-rise structure and right on top of the building as well. There will be an outdoor amenity space among these and it will feature a shelter. This outdoor space will face Elm Drive and will present the residents with the spectacular view of the Mississauga Valley Park.
The residents of this building would be able to enjoy a breathtaking view of the cityscape. The landscaped entrance that we have mentioned above that will share the lobby will have a social courtyard and it will be accessible to the public. There will be a couple of stories in the building right over the podium that will be suitable for a home or work lifestyle. And these units will also have access directly from the street level.
Apart from that, parking will be available to the residents and visitors of the Oro Condos at three levels. These parking levels would be able to hold more than 200 vehicles along with more than 400 bicycle spaces. Solmar is looking to plan the building in such a way that it allows the residents from a range of different lifestyles. Whether you are a student, a business professional or raising a small family, you’ll fit right in.
This is the time for investing because the neighborhood of Burnhamthorpe Rd East and Hurontario St. is going through a major development phase. This is going to be the case in the coming years as well. The burgeoning neighborhood has easy access to Downtown. And you also get to enjoy those beautiful views that this area has to offer. High-speed transit options are there too! Oro Condos is all set to be the crown jewel of the increased urbanization of this area. As we have mentioned above, this area is also seeing a number of other development and revitalization projects.
If you go down the south end of this region, the new projects will be introducing more than five thousand new condos to this neighborhood within a few years’ time. The Council is also looking to develop a public housing complex. Hence the region is also seeing a range of new community services that weren’t there before. Apart from that, there will be an art and culture hub available to the public very soon.
Some of the nearby parks include the likes of Stonebrook Park, Kariya Park and the one we have mentioned earlier, the Mississauga Valley Park. The Oro Condos is also close to a number of schools as well. There are a huge number of entertainment dining and shipping options available in this neighborhood. Prices and Floor Plans will be updated on our site as well.
Another thing to look for when buying a place is the transit options available. And there are plenty of them available here. This location comes with a very high Walk Score of 92 while the Transit Score is 99 as well. Its Bike Score is 85. You can move around according to your preference and can easily access the different parts of the city without any issues. Besides Miway service, you will also future Hurontario LRT steps from the building when it launches.
There is a network of main roads and the Mississauga Transit is around the corner too. No matter where you want to go throughout the city. You can easily move around on the bike, or your own vehicle and even if you don’t own a vehicle. The good thing is that you don’t need to leave your neighborhood because a number of errands are already there.
